Music, movies, clothes … More and more items that we used to buy are now available as a service. Maybe the era of ownership is over, an article in Futurism by Nordic think tank Demos Helsinki says. Quote:
When we buy things we easily get bored with them and forget they exist, or, alternatively, use them only because we own them. On-demand is about using things when we actually need them.
